  • Articles

My research focuses on two areas: The Gay Male Eventspace, and Fandom Within the Queer Community.

My first article, “Drink, Drag, and Diversity: Examining the Need for Variety and Sober Experiences within Gay Male Event Culture,” is currently under review for publication.

I am currently exploring fandom within the queer community through an autoethnographic lens, and my next article will be an examination of this subject. To see my own fandom journey, you can follow me on IG and TikTok @WelshSnorlax

  • Teaching

I currently serve as a Guest Lecturer in the Tourism, Hospitality, and Entertainment Management department at the University of East London, where I teach across three modules.

Previously, I have guest lectured at Goldsmiths, University of London, focusing on the dissertation and writing process, and at London South Bank University, where I taught on the design and creation of digital experiences.
